Abstract

Regardless of company setup or budget, Majda believes that it's possible to produce efficient communications that make everyone's life easier (internally and externally), as well as producing a good return on investment and strong brand identity. This, alongside effective management and operations, is a key to a sustainable and profitable future.

This session will cover four areas with take-aways that can be implemented immediately, as well as long-term marketing considerations:

- Efficiency - save money and the environment by using assets you already have (skills, data, story).

- Targeting - know your market and how they want to be communicated with. When you reach the right people in a relevant way, your marketing efforts produce profitable results.

- Loyalty - keep your customers through effective communications channels and know your competitors. Why do people book your club? How does that link with social sustainability? Communicate this with your audiences.

- Measure and adjust - don’t just do marketing! Less activity, more relevance, better results.

 This session will demonstrate real-life examples of activities and results, as well as useful tools for effective marketing and communications.

Biography

Majda is a Marketing Consultant working with SMEs, Sole Traders and startups, after going freelance in 2020 and founding Majda’s Touch. Before this, Majda spent two decades in marketing and communications roles within childcare, charity and aviation sectors.

With a focus on brand and strategy, Majda helps organisations identify, profile and reach their target audiences, convert and retain customers, stand out from competition, and communicate effectively.

Majda has a wealth of experience and connections within a range of industries, as well as strong relationships with suppliers, agency colleagues and freelance professionals.

With ten rebrands under her belt, Majda has also managed and created multiple website projects and successful promotional campaigns for children's holiday clubs, charity capital appeals and global product launches.

Alongside her academic and practical experience in marketing and communications, Majda has accreditations in copywriting, project management and Data Protection.
